How was your Daddy’s Day?
This mornings post is quite short since I am not feeling well. But I wanted to tell you how I spent Father’s Day. I had an entire day planned with hubby. I woke up everyone to go to catch the morning service at church. Then after church the plan was to come home and cook breakfast for hubby and everyone. Well things didn’t actually go that way. As I was almost ready to go to church. I slipped down my stairs and sprained my pinkie toe. So hubby ended up taking care of me and making me breakfast. I was so sad because I couldn’t move at all. I couldn’t even walk to the kitchen, bathroom, or living room. Hubby had to carry me to the living room. We did end up going to spend some time with his father, which was fun. I am currently home today because I still can’t put my foot into a shoe. But hopefully I will get better.

Yikes! I hate it when things like that happen to me…as they often do. I am sure that you will get better, I’m just sorry that your day didn’t work out as planned.
As for us, Father’s Day was busy. Lots of time in the car attempting to see the various Dads in our lives. A little much, but an enjoyable day overall.

Only could call my dad. Took my husband out to Denny’s for breakfast then sent him and the older boys off on a trip. Just gave them directions and a time to travel. They had to call for further instructions. They spent the day at the renaissance festival.
