A Reality Check
If you have been following my blog you know I have a series of blogs called My Postpartum Series. In this series I target one body part and I work on getting it back to pre-pregnancy mode, or as close to it as possible. Well, do you remember the post My Postpartum Body: Series 1, if not go and read it. Well I have an update from that series. It’s a little sad, but really a funny situation.
Well here is what happened. Last Friday I was having a girls night out with one of my friends. I was eager to go out as I don’t go out much. Getting ready for a night on the town is really hard for me. I do not have much clothes so my selections are very slim, not to mention that most of my clothes are pre-preggers, so selection is very skinny (lol). Well right before my vacation I bought some great jeans so I new I could wear that, so I just needed a shirt. I searched and searched and finally settled on a tube top that I thought was pretty flattering. I was excited and ready to go.
I freshened up, put on my jeans and then put on my shirt. I felt good. I turned around and looked in the mirror, and immediately a frown came to my face. I have been so pleased and happy with my new boobs (wonderful bras), that I forgot to put on one with my tube top and realized that my breast still sag. At first I was sad, but I had to laugh immediately. Let’s be real, how dumb can I be to really believed that by wearing great bras, push ups or with under wire, can miraculously move my breast up to stand on their own. I laughed so hard tears came to my eyes and had to write this down so I can post it to my wonderful readers. Since I did not have a wonderful strapless bra, I changed my shirt to something I was a bit more comfortable with and went on my way. You know I told my girlfriend and we laughed all night. Good Times!!!!!
So to update my post on New Boobs Please, my boobs still sag, but they look great in wonderful bras. This experience has not taken away from the fact that I have new boobs, it just gave me a bit of a reality check. Remember that not every solution you choose is a permanent one.

That is funny. I am just like you. I don’t have a lot of decent clothes and all of my pre pregnancy clothes don’t fit me anymore and they are out of style. I maybe purchase one piece of clothing a year. Hopefully after this baby is born I can get into better shape and afford a new wardrobe!
I went nuts and busted my hump after my second child to lose 60 pounds and I’m still working on rewarding myself with new clothes and bras. It’s such a great feeling!

Great reality check…you’re too funny when you said that you “believed that by wearing great bras, push ups or with under wire, can miraculously move my breast up to stand on their own.”
Reality check, hmmmm….My hubby has a cute and firm butt. I’m so jealous cause mines is super jiggly. I’m definitely reminded of how much I want a firmer butt when I squeeze his.
